Scuba Diving Gear
Scuba diving gear is an assortment of equipment that uses a supply
of compressed gas from a tank with regulated pressure. These devices
are utilized for breathing while underwater. Scuba is also the commonly
used name for the sport (also called "diving" or "scuba
diving") which uses the equipment for recreational diving.
Scuba diving gear is what makes scuba diving possible. A diver needs
to understand and know his scuba diving gear and realize how it works
in order to feel confident underwater. A diver basically need five types
of gear: scuba mask, booties, swimming fins, weights or weight belts
and a snorkel
Beyond the basic diving equipment, scuba diving gear comes in many
styles. Advanced items include integrated weight systems, buoyancy compensation
devices and rebreathers. Rebreathers recycle exhaled air back into the
system to reuse. If one’s budget will allow it, there will always
be more diving gear to accumulate.
